About the Journal

Indian Journal of Preventive & Social Medicine (IJPSM) is a Scientific Indexed Journal and Indexed in UGC-Care List (July, 2024 onwards) published as a departmental venture since last 55 years from the Department of Community Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.  This is a Peer Reviewed Journal of Community Medicine, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Management and Administration. The journal publishes papers, original research articles, and editorials on Preventive Medicine, Community Health, Health Management, Maternal and Child Health, Health Promotion, Communicable and Non-communicable diseases, Occupational and Environmental Health,  Medicine and Allied branches of Medical Sciences including Health Statistics, Bio-statistics, Nutrition, Epidemiology and Health Services Research.
